Tariff Publishing
 In accordance with the Surface Transportation Board (STB) ruling on May 7th, 2007 movers will be required to publish their own individual tariffs, and they will need to be in effect for January 1st, 2008. Due to the complexity of household goods tariffs and your potential legal exposure for failure to comply with the requisite federal regulations you may want assistance with your tariff publication needs.
The most natural option for a mover to pursue is the adoption of the AMSA 400 (or 600) series tariffs. IGC Software has been granted license rights in the HGCBC tariffs by the AMSA sufficient to assist movers that wish to use all or parts of the HGCBC in developing their own individual tariffs. This service will ONLY be provided to AMSA Members who have purchased a license from the AMSA.
IGC Software’s Tariff Publishing service is a one-time engagement cost. If after your initial publication you would like to make additional changes or modifications to your tariff you will be charged a nominal fee based on the volume of your change request.
Additionally all movers are required by law to make their tariff available for public inspection as well as the ability to produce their Rate Abstract for customers. IGC Software also provides these Tariff Hosting services which are described here.
A mover is not required to use the AMSA 400n or 600 tariffs and can create their own. IGC Software is also able to publish and verify STB compliance of such tariffs should a mover choose to go in that direction.
