Surveying and Pricing Crates
All crates can be surveyed and cubed from the Survey screen. To associate the crate to a specific room you will need to select that room from the room list. In the View list select “All.” The crates can be found in the list by the crate name.
For example, a glass piece would be located in the survey screen as Glass Top 1-9.
Tap on the crate name to add it to your surveyed items and it will automatically take you to the field to enter in the dimensions. All dimensions are to be entered as actual and inches. Survey will automatically add 4 inches to each side when cubing the piece.
To apply tariff pricing add “1” for pack and unpack in the same screen as the dimensions to apply crating and uncrating charges. Leave at zero if 3rd party or in-house rates are being used. Charges can be applied in the Miscellaneous screen.
If you need to crate an item not listed as a crate in Survey you can add it to your list by tapping in the top-left corner of the survey screen and selecting New Item. Name the crate and select a room for the crate. You will next to check the Crate box in that screen to set this new item as a crate.
